our journey
J & M Designs began after pitching a simple idea to my husband — to create inspirational tees that would share hope and truth. from there, God opened doors we never expected: online growth, pop-ups, & even a brick-and-mortar store. the unexpected news of our fifth child brought a wave of emotions—mom mode & guilt hit harder than ever. despite not being part of our initial plans, we felt the pull to slow down, focus on family, & trust that God’s plan was better than ours.
today, we’re continuing that journey through Abiding from Home by J & M Designs — a space where faith & creativity meet. what started as a small business has become a ministry of encouragement, reminding us all to abide in Jesus, right where we are. welcome — we’re so glad you’re here!
our reason
our prayer for this business has always been that joy & God’s peace would spread to others. within that calling, i’m learning to explore my gifts & follow God’s leading in new ways. here you’ll find me cultivating & creating things that help us see Jesus throughout the day, feel confident in who He created us to be, & find joy amid the chaos.

our hearts belong to the Lord, and we want to live purpose-driven lives. traditionally, giving back means monetary contributions, but God creates so many ways to love others & bring Him glory.
